| On Saturday the seminar schedule will be condensed so that participants may attend the panel discussion. Edward A. Snyder, Dean and George P. Shultz Professor of Economics, Chicago GSB, will moderate a panel discussion on "China & India: Implications for the Global Economy". Featured panelists will be Gary S. Becker, University Professor of Economics and Sociology, Chicago GSB; and Raghuram G. Rajan, Joseph L. Gidwitz Professor of Finance, Chicago GSB, and Economic Counselor and Director of Research, International Monetary Fund. The panel discussion will take place on Saturday, September 11, 2004 at the Savoy.
This panel will look at China and India together, the two giant growth countries and discuss how their future growth will impact Europe, the United States, and developing nations.
